Old Moshi Village Tour

A wonderful day tour package for people interested to visit a beautiful countryside on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro filled with banana and coffee farms to learn ways of life and farming practices of the natives, the Chagga people and their chiefdom system. With this package you will also explore historical sites and learn more about the rich history of Old Moshi dating back to before German colonization to include a tree where Mangi (Chief) Meli was hanged by the Germans in 1900, the palace of the chief, German military base from the 1890’s, a cemetery and an old slave market ruins. You can also choose to visit to a village school or dispensary.
