Mikumi National Park

Mikumi National Park, one of the most popular parks in Tanzania is located in the Eastern Circuit of Tanzania, north of the Selous Game Reserve. Mikumi is the fourth-largest park in Tanzania, and part of a much larger ecosystem centred on the unique Selous Game Reserve. The park is dominated by open grasslands where a wide range of wildlife inhabits area. Animals residing the park includes the following:-

Location & Getting There

Located about 283 km [175 miles] west of Dar es Salaam, north of Selous, and en route to Ruaha, Udzungwa and Katavi.
Road drive about 4 hour from Dar es Salaam, also connect to Udzungwa, Ruaha and Selous. Charter flight from Dar es Salaam, Arusha or Selous.
